I approached this portage for the first time on the west side and found it hard to find. There are three different bays on this shore of the lake. You will find it in the middle one. It was burned in the 2018 fire and the undergrowth is now thick. Once I did find it, I marked it with orange flagging and a rock cairn up on the ridge. Should be able to see it now. The east side of this portage did not get burned as bad, so it is easier to find and marked with a rock cairn.
