The east side of this portage is found as marked on the map and up a steep rock face. It is now marked with a tree blaze. The first eastern half of the portage is burned out by the 2021 fire. I marked it with rock cairns and cleaned it up with a handsaw, but expect more trees to come down over the years. The western half of the portage is suprising untouched by the fire and easy to follow. The Doe Lake side is marked with a rock cairn and now easy to find.
