This portage was burned in 2021, but was still intact and only required a few trees to be sawed out of the way. The south side goes up a rock face with a rock cairn marking the trail. The sign that marks the WCPP boundary needs to be replaced. Many standing burned trees so expect those to come down in the next few years. The north side is marked with a rock cairn.
