The Park chaisaw cleaned this portage in 2022, but I still had to clear deadfall out of the way. Many standing dead trees from the 2021 fire are still falling over. The trail is also hard to follow so I added rock cairns and flagging where needed. I found the north entrance hard to find so marked it up with tree blazes.

The north half of this portage is fairly wet. The portage has lots of ups and downs and could be considered more difficult than average. There was also lots of blowdown on this portage in 2020 which made it more challenging.
