This portage was last burned in 2018, so the underbrush is coming back thick and some of the standing dead trees are coming down. I cleaned it up with a handsaw and marked both entrances with blazes and rock cairns, so it is passable. I also knocked back some of the waist high jack pines so the path should be more obvious. I recall one spot that had a few large downed tree blocking the path that was too much for a handsaw, but it was an easy walk around.
