This portage is easy and dry, up high along a granite ridge. I made rock cairns that are now marking both ends of the portage. The undergrowth is growing back thick from the last fire in 2018. I spent some time brushing it out and removing fallen dead trees with a handsaw. Easy hike now with only a few bigger trees to step over.
