As others stated, very similar to the other 400 meter portage just to the west. This one was in even better shape than the other. No issues whatsoever.

This portage and the one further west are almost identical. The west side has a steep climb up to a ridge and then down to a leafy forest on the east side that is beginning to be overgrown. I was able to do this portage in one carry and did not have to stop to cut away trees. Everything could be stepped over. Cairns, flagging tape, and tree blazes mark the trail through the burn.

The takeout was hard to find, mostly obliterated by blowdown. Theportage itself was a bit overgrown and had some avoidable deadfall, but fairly easy once you're landed. (measured at 329 metres)
