Portage in rough shape and needs some chainsaw love by park staff. Flagging has faded. In 2020, I cleaned it up the best I could with a handsaw and rebuilt/added some rock marker cairns. Expect to take some extra time to complete. On the plus side, if you do get lost on the trail there are fields of blueberries at the right time of year, so you won't starve to death.

Portage is well marked with rock cairns. The entry from the east is slightly difficult to see, but is accurately shown relative to the island in paddle planner.
