This portage was burned in 2021 and had many trees down due to the fire. I took some time in June 2022 and cleaned this portage up the best I could with a axe and handsaw. It is now passable but will require work over the years as more standing dead falls down. The portage follows along a steep granite ridge on the east side of the creek.
