I lucked out with this portage when paddling east. A WCPP chainsaw tech crew had just passed by this portage a day before I arrived. I had met them the day before on Gammon Lake. They had cut some very big trees out of the way, so I was able to do one carry portages and save a bunch of time. No handsaw needed.....
