We lined our way through this one. Regardless of the choice, lining or portaging, this is an easy obstacle to overcome.

There is a lower (shorter) path and an upper (slightly longer) path. The upper path is much easier to walk. The lower path is probably under water during spring high waters.

It is possible to line your canoe down these rapids at certain water levels. But it probably doesn't save a whole lotta time. Seen an Osprey perched on top of a tree at this portage - Presumeably fishing.
