Nice little 3 rod up and over on the east side. Beautiful tiny (2 foot tall) tricking water fall, where I'm sure you could cross if the water was very high. Found ballutes a little past their prime in the woods. Lots of really cool narrows to the east of the portage.

Canoed right through. Totally underwater, it was nice!

I doubt this is even 12 rods. Up and over. On the Swamp side, we got bogged down a bit in the crowd trying to launch from only 1-2 spots.

Very simple up and over. Only downside to this portage is it is along a main route and can become a traffic jam. Easy side landing is really only good for one canoe so it can really get bogged down. 1/5.

Nothing to worry about. Just picked up our canoes and carried them the 10 yards. No biggie.

Carry over on flat rocks and shallow water. Slippery rocks.

The portage is on the north/Canadian side of the little stream, not south as the map indicates. Short, easy portage.

Super short. My favorite place in the BWCA to slip on wet rocks and fall in.

Very easy. When the water is down can be a little tricky getting out on the Plume Lake side.

A short rocky portage. Alot of traffic funnels through here.

Very easy portage. One year the water was up a couple of feet and we were able to paddle across this portage. But most years, it's a simple carry over.

Very short and easy. The rock can be slick. I slid into Sag up to my waist when unloading the canoe.

Short and easy lift-over in either direction. Landings are good.

This is NOT a climb. It's a piece-o'-cake little hump across an isthmus, not much more than a carryover.
