Portage is very easy. You don't see it on until you come around the corner on Larch, but it's easy enough to find. Coming from the west, the entrance location is pretty obvious.

Larch landing is shallow and somewhat sandy. Not wide enough to parallel park, so I still had to get wet. There is a troublesome shallow rock right in the middle where you want to land, so be careful. The portage itself is not bad. The Clove landing has a rocky bottom and a little deeper than the Larch end, but not too bad, either.

The larch landing was a tad precarious with a western wind, but the portage itself wasn't too bad.
