This portage is rough but completely passable. In fact, all the portages from Burntrock to Little Caribou and along the Palisade, Grayson, Berg Rivers, were all cleared in 2020 and/or 2021. This one gets tough on the east end, where you have trees growing in swampy conditions. You step on a rock, in a deep hole, on a slippery root, and again and again, while trying not to break your ankle. Overall not bad, just be careful
