It's really neat paddling through as Angleworm begins to narrow. This portage is incredibly beautiful. The crew was a little discouraged after the Hegman to Angleworm portage so it was nice to do something a little less rigorous.

Starts at the base of a long standing beaver dam (east side). It briefly climbs on a twisty trail before straightening out and dropping down to Home Lake. In low water there is a smaller dam just south of here that may also need to be portaged around. If this is the case - it's probably wiser to combine these 2 trails into one longer portage.

This portage can be cut in half going toward Home by paddling to the beaver dam and cutting through the meadow to the right
