The landing on East Pike is a mess of odd shaped boulders. However, after getting past that you couldn't hope for a less technically demanding trail with no elevation until you start nearing the intersection of the trail south to Pine Lake where mud, roots and boulders begin appearing with increasing frequency. Just past the intersection there is a short boardwalk just prior to a short stone stairway down to a smallish landing on West Pike

Decent length, but we had just had a snack and were ready to go. The group powered through this one while I strolled along with my canoe and enjoyed the trees. Landing is a little tight on the west end.

From East to West Pike, I didn't look closely at the contours in advance. Up and down, with rocks and mud, plus some decent length too.
