Well, it is as expected. This portage has a narrow, unsuspecting landing and then heads up, takes a break, up, then another break, and then one more push. It's steep, minimally traveled, and has a beautiful pair of lakes on the top. Coming back down has a nice overlook of Pine, but don't stare too long, it's quite the fall down the portage!
