We had no problem walking the canoe up these rapids (N to S). It was a very refreshing walk, and we had a nice swim on the Gabi side. We found a vintage steel beer can that looked to be at least 40 years old, probably older.

The rapids are nearly runable in high water. We opted to portage. I found a set of heavy prescription sunglasses (pink!) in the water at the Gabi end. The portage is a non-challenge and we were quickly on our way.

I came through here twice, once in 16 and once in 18 and both time we were able to walk the canoes through these short and mild rapids without difficulty. We came N to S.

Can be a little muddy & there are a few rocks (especially at the landings) but, otherwise pretty straight foreword.
