The overhanging logs are gone now, but there's a lot of encroaching brush to contend with. And this portage just keeps going up, up, and up again to Virgin. Looking back from the Virgin end and noting how you are now at the same height as the huge rocks on Peter is pretty cool and surreal.

Didn't appear to get much use. Overall a challenging trail. Lotsa twists and turns. There were a couple of spots that were tricky to get by with a canoe. Decent sized trees had been blown down across the trail and were both hung up at at height where you couldn't go over or under. Also was tough to get around these areas easily.
