Gillis to Crooked: Nothing much to add to previous comments other than it was fairly muddy in the low areas, as water levels were high.

Beautiful start alongside the creek with the ruined cabin nearby. This is a special place.

Mostly a decent flat trail that has a nice pond and pretty little stream running along it on the Crooked lake end. But there are a few short ups & downs. Also the ever present protruding root or rock. The dilapidated remains of an old trappers cabin are located near the Crooked lake end.
