We set off from Snowbank at about 5:00 pm with the intention of making a round trip overnight to Isle of the Pines. Since neither of us had been through this chain, it seemed a good occasion to see it. It was pretty obvious which portage gets taken in this bay and its not this one! The portage is narrow and steep and brushy. There was some sporadic poison ivy too. Pretty cool to instantly feel more remote.
