This is a beautiful campsite with running water and a small tucked away cave nearby. My group and I waited out the storm in the cave for awhile before heading on.

As others have noted, this is one of the prettiest portages to be found in the BWCA. It really is pretty level throughout, other than a short climb out of sag, and every step allows for viewing and listening to the rapids. It is a neat spot, so take time to savor it.

One of the most beautiful portages I've ever been on. Definitely worth pausing and taking some pictures or a video. The portage itself was fairly straightforward and easy.

Big step up from Mora but otherwise a very nice portage along the falls into Lil Sag. 2/5

Fairly steep at both ends, but otherwise a good well worn mostly level path. The view all along this portage should more than compensate for any exertion expended on this trail.
