Big open landing on the Newfound end with a massive, downed log that should also provide assistance. The trail climbs up out of Newfound and then pretty much levels off on the way to Found Lake - only a very slight gradient going to Found. The trail was virtually a wilderness highway and the campsite on Found is literally right at the end of the portage where there is a small somewhat rocky shallow water landing.
