Short but steep. The landing on the Carl side is easier than the Lux side.

Short, but straight up and straight down. Narrow little landings too.

Nothing too drastic but, there is an up and over. Rocks & loose gravel to contend with.

The take-out is easy to negotiate. From there, the trail goes steeply upward and then immediately back down to the shore of Lux Lake. Watch your footing as the coarse gravel tend to roll under your feet. The put-in is also gravel and easy to negotiate.
