Easy portage. When coming from Nym, don't follow the "road"; the portage trail is right along the creek.

On our visit, the marsh had all dried up into a grassy meadow. The north landing drops out into a mucky backwater. Not a difficult portage, but I could see it being worse in the spring. We portaged through and were on our way.

Portage goes through a spruce bog, easy to sink to your waist.
