We snowshoed through here. The portage is fairly short and the area seems like it would be very quiet even in the summer. I can see how this one would get wet at times.

The campsite can be seen from the portage, so it may be prudent to check if the site is open before fully commiting. Landings are awful. The trail is short and level, but is narrow and rocky with roots too. The trail runs just under a nice rise which provides a decent overlook of either lake. Something to consider....perhaps the reason I don't rate this one as tough as the other comments might be because we just came off the Big Rice portage which made this one seem like a walk in the park.

Rocky take-out on the Hook end, average on the Keneu end. Short and easy. Can be a little wet if the water is high.
