Walking up the creek and then cutting onto the portage route to the right avoided the wasps! Wisdom gained on the second half of the doubled portage.....

Short and not difficult except the put-in in the pond is at a beaver dam. Only room for one canoe at a time. The pond is a short zig-zag to another short and easy haul. The put-in in Oriana is wide and gentle. Lots of room.
