Definitely a tough take out on the Quetico Lake side of the portage; the Conk Lake side is much better, but still has some tricky footing to get the canoe down to the water. Otherwise an easy carry in dry conditions. Conk Falls are very pretty...it's worth taking the little side trail to check it out.

Although a short portage we found this quite challenging and dangerous as the put in is very difficult on the Quetico Lake side. You have to be very careful on this portage. One of the worst short portages I have been on.
