Quick and easy; take out on the Jean Lake side is a bit tight for more than one canoe.

Did not use the portage but pulled the canoes along the straw to the west. Worked great when coming out the same way were able to navigate the stream without getting out of the canoes.

Can be a little tricky to find from the south. The obvious point is the end of the lake where the creek is. There is even a trail there that starts out almost looking like a portage. The true portage is on the side of the lake hidden in the trees.
