Trail was actually in decent shape. Not too muddy and cleared of downed trees.

Wasn't that bad. We caught it relatively dry. Long, some mud holes, some stumbly rocks. Mostly just fine.

Visit date is approximate but I will say that, while the portage itself is long, the elevation is not terribly dynamic and much of the oft discussed mudded-out areas are quite improved.

This portage had recently been cleaned up by the crews. Not the challenge I had heard it would be. Some fresh corduroy. Sign of moose.
