We couldn't find the Sturgeon Lake end of this portage, but we paddled upstream with no problem; couple of small beaver dams to lift over but that was easy. I think we saw the upstream end of the portage when we paddle past (look for a large rock on the left where the stream opens up into a larger marsh area).

We never saw this portage. The water was high enough that we kept going. The stream was narrow at times, but did not have much of an issue getting through. I never even saw where the portage would be.
