One of the easier "falls" portages. One of the few places in Quetico I've observed oak trees present.

Fairly easy portage. Well used for sure. Exposed, steep slab of bedrock on Shelley Lake side can get very slippery in the rain.

Brief, steep rock lift on east end. Watch footing. Good, level trail. Nice view of falls the last 20 rods and at west put-in/take-out.
