Same comments as I made for the portage immediately to the west of this one: The west end takeout for this portage is not where it is located on the map; proceed all the way to the end of the creek, takeout is on the left next to the large pile of boulders where the lake flows into the creek. In low water the east end approach is a boggy mess of tree bark left over from the log drives.
