We didn't have a nasty take out here on west side although it is quite steep and the east side is pretty hard due to grade. This is shorter that 62 R and is probably closer to 30 /- R. There is a really fun section before this where the river bends southwest and some rapids before the portage. The west side was sandy near the falls so we ate lunch and had an eagle swoop over our heads as it headed straight up the river. Pretty awesome.
