Thankfully, the previous comment is spot on. Although longish (it actually felt less than 93 R) it was pretty easy and very scenic. Steep at south end, but steady and ends north of a beaver dam. This is NOT indicated on the Fisher F-17 map.

Fairly well used scenic portage. Unless water levels are very low or there have been recent storms causing windfalls I highly recommend this route from Darkwater to William. Beautiful creek paddle
