There was pile of rocks on the Star side of the portage that made this easy to find but it seemed very obvious without those. A little mucky landing. You navigate through a swamp like area to get to the portage, which is pretty. The portage is a little hilly (e.g., goes down from Star) but a real nice walk through the woods.
