The location of the portage is odd when coming from Louisa. Map shows is right across the lake from portage but it actually is in the small cove perpendicular to the shoreline. A little hard to find but if you get close enough to shore you can then see the trail. Not well used so if there is a tree down anywhere then it looks like it is not there. Easy portage - good landing spot.
