Easy hike from Jeff to an open marshy area. We had high water and this creek was 100% paddle-able. Even so, you still have to push out into the stream from a saturated boggy area. (roughly 30 feet) I would think this would be a bit of nightmare of a portage in a dry year. Use caution.
