Steep portage but relatively nice path. It did have 2 landings one further away from the falls. One place on this trip I wish I had taken a picture. The top of the falls on the Sheridan side was roaring with water. It was a high water year and we'd just gotten poured on going across Carp for 1 hour or more so I think that probably increased the water flow.

This portage is steep and rocky but a very easy portage. There are two landing spots on Sheridan. One by the stream running out and one to the left that is easier to load the canoe. The portage is actually farther to the northeast than shown on the map. It runs right along the stream coming out of Sheridan. There is a nice sandy landing spot on Carp.
