I negotiated this connection in 2019. It was easy since I could canoe the creek from lake to lake with little issues. However, this time in Sep 2024 the creek was so low in places - I was forced to unload and portage nearly the entire length. Took four hours walking through thick brush and grass. So just be careful ref time of year / water conditions if you choose to use this route.
