More mud going from Glenmore to Schlam. Once we were out of the water, the portage was fine, but then it was another muddy landing on the Schlam side. It did overlook a small marsh midway through the portage, that was kind of neat to see. It felt like moose territory but I didn't see any.

As of my visit, there was a pine tree fallen along the portage trail with most of its branches still in tact. There's some attempts to buchwhack a trail to the north of the tree, but it's still a challenge to get through with a canoe.

Tricky boulder filled landing on Glenmore. Decent climb out of Glenmore gives way to a slightly overgrown, though excellent trail for majority of portage. Only a short rocky section near Schlam end is the only cause for concern. Fairly decent (albeit muddy) open landing on Schlamn end.
