There was an old long log extending out at the Juno landing that can help to steady the boat at this nice pebble rock landing. There is some very minor undulation along the way but, mostly its an excellent flat path before dropping slightly down to a relativly tight landing on Brule. The trail is through a stand of Poplar trees which are not overly thick and don't crowd the path making off trail exploration inviting. We found a few artifacts (old shovel heads & some other iron pieces) at about the mid-point.

We pulled in to the nice Juno landing as the snow was really starting to fly. The portage was mostly unmemorable otherwise.
