This river is a whole different beast with water levels where they are right now. This portage had flowing water across the first and last 100 feet which made landings a little more sketchy.. It's a beautiful spot with a confluence of waterfalls coming in from all sides at the north end.

Easy scenic portage. Landings on both sides are easy and the rapids along the trail are beautiful.

Don't blast through without stopping to enjoy the view of the falls/rapids! Otherwise, the portage is pretty easy with rocky landings on either end.

Scenic portage around a set of rapids with a small waterfall. Heavily used trail.

Beautiful portage. Nicknamed Elm Portage. Great scenery of the cascade/waterfall. Recent large downfall on the south side was cleared. Fairly deep water exit on the north side.

The nice landing is on the left side of the river and it's easy to spot. The trail doesn't gain or lose much elevation, but there is a short stretch of up-and-down in the middle of the trail and a small waterfall on the right. A significant amount of work was done to improve this portage in 2010, resulting in less mud and better footing.
