The portage itself wasn't bad (the trees that were apparently down have been cleared), but the landings go from bad to worse throughout this area. We had to skirt the mud and find our own launching point or risk going into mud/muck that was of unknown depth on the Glenmore side. Glenmore was also my least favorite lake it the area with a lot of dead trees ringing it.

The worst maintained portage I've ever experienced. Littered with trees crossing the path from waist to chest height. The Glenmore end terminates at a scummy, stagnant bay. The path skirts this section to a tricky landing just about the point that the water is somewhat clear. The Western side was a bit of a challenge to find for such a small lake. Rocky but comparatively better landing.

Rocky landings on both ends and no shortage of ankle turning boulders all along the way of this slightly overgrown path. There's also some muddy sections including a boardwalk that can be very slick when wet. There were some impressive pines along (and just off) the trail.
