Decent landing on the Clearwater end. In keeping with a theme for the portages in this immediate region, this is another up and over with a shorter climb on this end & a long descent to Turtle. However, the gradient here is, by far, less severe than many of the other nearby trails. The landing on Turtle was kind of a mess as many of the planks for the boardwalk were floating in the water - which, thankfully was high during my visit.

This was our second portage of the day & it seemed longer than it is. There was a muddy/rocky section about a third of the way from Turtle to Clearwater that made footing tricky when carrying the canoe.
