A pretty easy portage all things considered. A level and rolling trail with no rocks or obstructions. It sees heavy use. Boardwalks are in place to cross muddy areas. The river landing is rocky but easy to load and unload at. Not much brush to speak of and plenty of headroom. There are pit toilets at the entry point parking lot but no garbage cans to speak of.

The north end is closed in and muddy. The nice thing about river routes is that sometimes it's fairly obvious where the portage is based on where the rapids start/stop. After that, it's a muddier than usual entry point portage. Plenty of people mingling in the parking lot as we headed for the car. Another nice trip!

Traveled this entry point in spring summer and fall. Water levels will play a part in travel time once you reach the river. Portage is good to travel on. The entry point a favorite.

A bit long, not a thrilling way to start or end a trip, but not that bad. Can be a bit muddy. Take your time. A couple steady climbs but this one is more about endurance than strength. I'd say 4/10 or 5/10 based mostly on length with a couple moments that'll get your heart beating when loaded up with 80lbs.
