The Fisher map (F13) shows the Poplar end of this portage in the wrong place - one bay to the east. The Paddle Planner map is generally correct. The portage crosses both the Banadad Ski Trail and a snowmobile trail before coming out at Poplar. Both crossings are direct and should be obvious. It can be a little muddy between Swamp and the ski trail.

Attempted to take a short cut out using Swamp Lake into Poplar... We could not locate the remainder of the portage after the ski trail. Could someone describe where it was?
