Portage is much better maintained, however, going from Hassel to Lunetta, the portage is a bit tricky to spot. Do NOT go too far into the swamp! The portage begins at a bunch of rocks. We were also there when the lake seemed to be lower, so this might have contributed. Otherwise, not a bad portage.

This portage does not appear to be maintained very much. There must have been a dozen trees down across the portage at various points. The portage can be a little soggy near Hassel. I found the portage to be very scenic. Several stands of pines mixed in with ponds and wildlife made it an enjoyable hike.
