We searched in vain for this portage. It appears that you could pull off about anywhere on this peninsula and get across without a herculean bushwhacking effort. But, in my estimation, as long as the small beaver dam a few yards upstream from this location remains intact. (there were fresh branches when we passed) There will never be a need to take this portage. Perhaps, even if that dam fails.... Just continue paddling on up the river.
