Challenging boulder laced landings, especially on the downstream (Caribou) end. Trail itself is flat and straightforward. Interesting side note: There are remains of an old bridge that crosses the brook just off the portage trail at about the mid-point. And the corresponding trail (not sure what this trail was) can still be seen as well.

We arrived at this site after dark. It has a very rocky landing that doesn't allow one to get too close to the portage which is tough. Otherwise it's not too tough.

This portage is hard to find from Meeds, paddle the North-Eastern bays slowly and you'll see it. There's a small river/stream between the two portages that has a lot of tall grasses.
